In Spring 2006, the Delta Alpha chapter was nationally recognized and won the "New Undergraduate Chapter of the Year" award for its astounding accomplishments during its first year on the University of Georgia's campus.
In Spring 2006, the chapter was also awarded the "Most Supportive Chapter" award in Tennessee Area One for its consistent efforts to help and support the growth of other chapters in Georgia and Tennessee.
In Spring 2007, the Delta Alpha chapter won 2nd place at LSU's Showdown Stroll Competition. The ladies competed against national stroll teams and still prevailed as a Top 3 finalist.
In Spring 2007, the chapter was nationally recognized again as being the "Undergraduate Chapter of the Year" for the hard work they put into cultural and educational programs, scholarly excellence, as well as a community service.
In 2008, the Delta Alpha chapter received the "Highest GPA" award from the Multicultural Greek Council at the University of Georgia for excelling academically in their course work.
In Spring 2010, the chapter won the "Most Interactive Organization" award from the Multicultural Greek Council at UGA for their strong support and collaboration with other Greek and student organizations on campus.
In Fall 2010, the Delta Alpha chapter won 1st Place at LSU's Showdown Stroll Competition. The ladies were awarded funds for their victory, which was used towards creating La Mujer Universal Scholarship.

In Fall 2011, the stroll team for Delta Alpha won 1st place for the second year in a row at LSU's Showdown Stroll Competition. The ladies used the funds awarded towards the continuation of La Mujer Universal Scholarship.
In Spring 2013, the chapter was presented with the "Sisterhood Engagement" award for receiving the most PEP* points for their active involvement and engagement with sisters in the Delta Alpha chapter.
In Spring 2013, the chapter was also awarded a "Chapter of Excellence" award for achieving over 88% PEP* points for their academics, educational programs, community service, and sisterhood engagement in GAA1 and the University of Georgia's campus.
In Fall 2013, the ladies of Delta Alpha won 1st place for the third time in a row at LSU's Showdown stroll competition. The ladies used the reward money towards expanding La Mujer Universal Scholarship.
In Spring 2014, the Delta Alpha chapter was recognized in UGA's newspaper, The Red and Black, for their outstanding community service efforts both nationally and in the local community.
In Fall 2014, the Delta Alpha chapter won 2nd place at LSU's Showdown Stroll Competition. The reward money is being used towards continuing the La Mujer Universal Scholarship as well as providing more cultural and charitable activities on campus.
In Spring 2017, the Delta Alpha chapter was featured in UGA's newspaper, The Red and Black, for their event titled "Make America Unified Again."
